About
Hello, I’m Nell.
I grew up in Otley, trained as a newspaper photographer in Leeds, and spent six years learning to notice things before they happen. In 2016 I photographed a friend’s wedding and never went back.
I work alone, from a small studio in Horsforth. On the day I stay out of the way, keep an eye on the timings and the light, and photograph what actually happens — the speech that made your grandad cry, not a dozen variations on the same pose.

Yes. Anywhere within 30 miles of Horsforth is included; beyond that it’s 45p a mile, plus an overnight stay for venues more than two hours away.
Yes — print them, frame them, post them. I keep the copyright and may show a few in my portfolio, unless you’d rather I didn’t; just say so.
In nine years it hasn’t happened. If it ever does, I have three trusted Yorkshire photographers who cover for each other, and you’d get a full refund of my fee.
No, I only photograph. I’m happy to recommend videographers I’ve worked alongside and enjoy sharing a day with.
